Alliance Mission Statement
To enhance the playing opportunities and maximize the exposure of all junior golfers of each Alliance member while providing quality sponsorship opportunities to each members events that will directly benefit the players and families participating in the events conducted by Alliance members.

Purpose
The Alliance serves as an organizational and promotional body for all Independent Jr. golf tournaments, tours and golf organizations to strengthen the marketing influence, networking capabilities and fund raising activities for each member’s players and events. The Alliance provides the avenue for players, parents and organizational staff to benefit from the unlimited knowledge, experience and networking power of each individual members organization, their sponsors and the communities and countries they represent.

History
The Alliance was formed by Mr. Tony Espinosa of the Texas Jr. Golf Tour. (TJGT), Mr. Leopoldo Lopez, President Mexico Golf Association ( Zona Norte), Steve & Tonda Alexander, Directors West Texas Junior Champions Tour, Steve Smith, Director, Starburst Golf Classic, David Smith, Executive Director Texas Oklahoma Jr. Golf Tournament, Morri Rose, Director Oklahoma Jr. Golf Tour (OJGT), Mr. Bart Johnson, Tournament Director, Bluebonnet Jr. Golf Championships. The founding members recognized that many independent jr. golf tournaments, tours and organizations had worked for years within their respective communities, states, regions and countries to build strong and successful events to benefit the playing and sponsorship opportunities for their participants and events. Thousands of volunteers, parents, grandparents and business leaders put many long hours of dedication and financial resources to grow their individual events to the level they have attained today. Thousands of junior golfers from these organizations have benefited by receiving golf and academic scholarship opportunities as well as significant exposure to continue their golf or academic careers into the professional ranks. However, the founding members strongly believe in the team concept. Independent junior golf tours, tournaments and organizations have never in the past organized themselves under one roof to work together to build strength in numbers similar to recognizable national golf organizations.

The Alliance seeks to combine well respected members who bring large numbers of jr. golfers of all socio-economic backgrounds and race as well as tremendous organizational leadership of each member under one umbrella while not interfering with each individual member’s events and sponsorship opportunities. This strength in numbers will have a tremendous and direct benefit on enhancing the playing and sponsorship opportunities for each member’s organization and junior golfers. The networking benefits between members, the marketing power of a large national and international organization will ultimately benefit the juniors participating in Alliance events for years to come. Furthermore, under the spirit of cooperation and mutual respect the Alliance provides a larger voice and influence in the marketplace with national and international golf organizations resulting in the ability to help more kids and families realize their dreams of attending NCAA institutions for their academic and golf related talents.
